Previously we reported that newly elected and controversial Republican U.S. House Rep from Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, had threatened to file articles of impeachment on Joe Biden the day after he was officially inaugurated. Well, that day has come, and it appears based on her new video announcement, that she is following through with that notice.
“I just filed articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden, we’ll see how this goes” she said:

We reported back on the 13th of this month in part:
Congress is currently in the process of impeaching President Donald J. Trump, for the second time. It is unlikely that he will be convicted in the Senate before Joe Biden takes over on January 20th. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has hinted he won’t convene an early session which all but seals that up in our view.
Many Republicans have different feelings on President Trump right now, but all but 10 of them did not vote to impeach him today. It’s a shame to Trump supporters that even ten did, but many are already talking about how to primary some of these Republicans.
Meanwhile, newly elected U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene is taking proactive measures in her mind. Just moments ago on Twitter she announced her plans to produce articles of impeachment against Joe Biden one day after his inauguration. She drops some hints that it may have something to do with other members of his family as they relate to him in her tweet.
“On January 21, 2021, I’ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden for abuse of power.”

We reported also that it is unlikely that this will lead to a Senate conviction, or even get enough votes in the House to get as far as the U.S. Senate, although anything is possible. Nonetheless, many supporters of Greene’s are also supporters of former President Donald Trump, and they will be glad to see another politician who is keeping their word.
So far it’s not clear exactly what the impeachment charges are, although we have our suspicions.
This is a developing story, and if we get reactions from other Republicans that may indicate if this impeachment has any legs we will continue to update you as we are able to. Meanwhile, President Biden has been signing a series of executive orders to reverse many of President Trump’s actions. It is being reported that the Keystone XL pipeline permit is being pulled, costing many jobs to Americans, as well as Canadians.
A few Republicans such as Virginia U.S. House Rep Bob Good have been calling out Joe Biden for potentially causing harm to the U.S. with his whirlwind of new actions. It will take time to see how much the GOP can push back against Democrat actions now, as they no longer hold a majority in either the House or the Senate, and of course, no longer hold the presidency either.
