Earlier today, Greene praised former president Donald Trump for not announcing last night, although she said that she wished he did.
Many in the America First movement had said they didn’t want him to do so prior to the midterms because they felt that it could negatively affect the midterms.
Others, however believe that perhaps it could have motivated some in the “silent majority: to come out and vote.
“I wish Pres Trump announced last night in Ohio, but he chose to put everyone else first,” Greene declared in the tweet.
Greene, who also spoke at the rally, then pointed out the large amount of work that Trump has been putting in for Republican candidates throughout the country.
“[Trump’s] held 30 rallies in 17 states, hosted 43 telerallies & 52 candidate fundraisers, & endorsed 285 candidates while being politically persecuted,” Greene explained.
Greene concluded by noting that “[Trump’s] put everyone else first all along.”
