Ron DeSantis Coasts to Gubernatorial Re-Election Victory Over Democratic Challenger Charlie Crist

Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis has been declared the winner by multiple news outlets over Democratic challenger Charlie Crist.

Local news reporter Deborah Choe said in a tweet, “Crowd just bursted out into applause and scream as Governor Ron DeSantis is the projected winner for the governors seat”

The Blaze announced in a quote tweet of Crist that “DeSantis has been declared the winner and is on pace to win by a record margin”

Crist had hopefully suggested in an earlier tweet today, “Today is the day we vote Ron DeSantis out.”

As we previously reported, former President Donald Trump confirmed today to a reporter that he voted for DeSantis for Florida governor.

While Trump recently took a jab at DeSantis in relation to a potential presidential run, he has made it clear he supports him for governor.

When asked if he voted for DeSantis, Trump, while walking with his wife and former First Lady Melania responded, “Yes, I did.”

As we previously reported, at Sunday’s “Save America” rally in Miami, Florida, Trump called on Floridians to re-elect DeSantis.

Trump had previously called him DeSanctimonious at Saturday’s Pennsylvania rally, but he did just say DeSantis at last night’s Ohio rally.
