Marjorie Taylor Greene Plans to File Articles of Impeachment Against Joe Biden on January 21st

Congress is currently in the process of impeaching President Donald J. Trump, for the second time. It is unlikely that he will be convicted in the Senate before Joe Biden takes over on January 20th. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has hinted he won’t convene an early session which all but seals that up in our view.

Many Republicans have different feelings on President Trump right now, but all but 10 of them did not vote to impeach him today. It’s a shame to Trump supporters that even ten did, but many are already talking about how to primary some of these Republicans.

Meanwhile, newly elected U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene is taking proactive measures in her mind. Just moments ago on Twitter she announced her plans to produce articles of impeachment against Joe Biden one day after his inauguration. She drops some hints that it may have something to do with other members of his family as they relate to him in her tweet.

“On January 21, 2021, I’ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden for abuse of power.”

With a Democrat majority in both chambers, it’s unlikely an impeachment of Joe Biden would make it to the finish line. Nevertheless, Republicans who are angry with Democrats for the way Donald Trump was treated and with Republicans for not being tougher on Democrats may see this as a welcome sign anyway.

For far too long the hatred of President Trump has caused a rift in the GOP while almost all Democrats stood in unison against him. Trump supporters don’t like this and want to see Republicans fighting as hard as Democrats politically speaking.

We will see how seriously other members of Congress take this and if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris respond in any way. Stay tuned for updates on this major development.

Update:

Greene just posted a video and this:

“On January 21st, I’m filing Articles of Impeachment on President-elect @JoeBiden. 75 million Americans are fed up with inaction. It’s time to take a stand. I’m proud to be the voice of Republican voters who have been ignored.”
