Like many others, the Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, have been watching what is unfolding with Elon Musk’s attempt to buy Twitter.
Yesterday, Cameron urged in a tweet, “Pay attention to how the corporate media is branding @elonmusk as a ‘supervillain’ because he wants to buy Twitter, open source the algorithm, and allow ppl to speak freely within the bounds of the law.”
“They hate this because it threatens their control of the narrative,” Cameron explained.
YouTuber Mark Dice told Cameron in a reply, “You guys should partner with Elon to help restore free speech online with some that billions in Bitcoin and get back to your roots: Social media.”
Not long after Dice’s reply, Tyler noted in a separate tweet, “Twitter stock has been FLAT for 9 YEARS. @elonmusk, most proven and successful entrepreneur in the world, steps up to fix this.”
“On what business judgement basis does the Board reject this? What’s their better plan after all this time? Love to hear it,” Tyler stated.
Entrepreneur Scott Wainner pointed out in a reply, “This isn’t about money for them. Twitter is their religion. They had their chance to run it well.”
“Yea and they completely blew it. Time to step aside,” Tyler suggested in response.
Not long thereafter, Tyler responded to Dice with a thinking face emoji.
