Arizona Secretary of State GOP nominee Mark Finchem has had his Twitter account reinstated after new Twitter boss Elon Musk vowed to get to the bottom of it.
After issuing a “test” tweet, Finchem announced in another tweet, “We are back!”
“Thank you@elonmusk for stopping the commie who suspended me from Twitter a week before the election. Twitter is much better with you at the helm,” Finchem declared.
Finchem added, “Thank you @MediaRightNews1 @JennaEllisEsq @KariLake @Brick_Suit & others for spreading the word! #AZSOS“

Although we were the first to report on the situation, Musk responded to a tweet by Jenna Ellis and told her that he was “looking into it.”
Ellis had reported in the tweet, “WHOA. Arizona Secretary of State candidate @RealMarkFinchem was suspended on Twitter.”
“@elonmusk this shouldn’t happen a week before the election!” Ellis pointed out.
Ellis explained in a reply, “Finchem’s account is in ‘read-only’ mode, so it looks like it’s still active, but he cannot tweet or retweet, apparently for up to a week or ‘ it could take longer.’ Unclear what lead to the suspension.”

Ellis later responded to Finchem’s “test” with a quote tweet where she exclaimed, “WOW. THAT is the new ownership of @elonmusk However you vote, THIS IS GREAT!”
