Michelle Malkin Says “Violent Criminal Looters Should be Shot”

Conservative blogger and now Newsmax contributor Michelle Malkin who is well known for her controversial statements didn’t hold back today in a pair of tweets she made in what looks like a bold attempt to get Twitter’s attention.

It appears she is making the case that there is an extreme bias in the world of Twitter when it comes to censorship and flagging content. She posted some screenshots first of what appears to be left-wing activists calling for violence that she claims to have reported to Twitter to no avail. Then she tweeted out:

“I flagged this account calling for cops to be taken out & police stations to be set fire 2 days ago & tagged @TwitterSafety @jack @yoyoel. No action.
But saying violet criminal looters should be shot will earn you a Twitter flag for “glorifying violence.”

In another tweet, she responded to herself to make sure people knew where she stood on the issue relating to President Trump’s recent tweet about the Minneapolis riots being censored for ‘glorifying violence’. She tweeted out again: “In case I wasn’t clear: Violent criminal looters should be shot.” See the interaction below and decide for yourself what think:

This very well may be the most racially divisive and politically charged environment the U.S. has seen in a long time. To make matters worse, the ‘town square’ of social media companies appear to be made up of mostly left-wing activists who happen to be in the social media business as well. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some things that need to be censored on social media but it takes away the trust that there is a fair system that is applied to both political sides.

This is further adding to the sense of disaffection for the ‘system’ by many of the regular folks if you will. Violence should never be promoted or conducted by anyone for any reason inside the United States but the free speech situation is being convoluted a bit too much for many people’s comfort.
