This morning former President Trump was on Lisa Marie Boothe’s inaugural Podcast titled “Do You Miss Me Yet? A Tell-All with President Donald J. Trump”. The podcast was a little less than an hour and as the press release from the Office of the Former President says, they talked about “Election Fraud, Joe Biden’s dangerously radical policies (2A and the Border!) and the future of the Republican Party.” Trump’s office released this commentary after this mornings podcast. Boothe was enthused about having Trump as her first guest.
“Kind words from Pres. Trump about my new podcast, “The Truth with Lisa Boothe.” He was my first guest! Such an honor! Listen to the interview that Pres. Trump is talking about HERE: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-truth-with-lisa-boothe/id1557742167k“

“Miss me yet?” a keen title as it seems everyone misses Trump, the Democrats can’t stop themselves from talking about him even though he has been gone out of the spotlight for a little over two months. Trump is still their go-to guy for the blame game with the crisis at the southern U.S. border. Media viewership seems to be down across the board for both TV and article news, Huffington Post has recently let go of over 40 employees since the orange man left the White House. Nielsen reported CNN’s primetime viewership it down 36% since January 21st.
During the podcast, they started to discuss the 2024 Presidential election Trump said “I’ll make that decision [on seeking reelection in 2024] sometime later, but there’s a pretty deep bench”. According to Politics1.com Trump went on to name some “very good” GOP candidates, Ron DeSantis, Kristi Noem, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Sarah Huckabee Sanders to round out his list.
On the same Lisa Boothe podcast, Pres Trump said if he doesn't run in 2024, those he specifically named as "very good" GOP candidates were Ron DeSantis, Kristi Noem, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The list of the names doesn’t come as a surprise. DeSantis the Governor of Florida, where Trump has taken up residence, has opened up his state with some municipalities still enforcing their own mandates. Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul all Senators who stood up to question the results of the 2020 elections.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders former White House Press Secretary President Trump. Sanders is very well-liked with supporters of Trump for her no-bull stance she took with White House reporters. Sarah recently announced her bid for Governor of Arkansas. Trumped issued his endorsement for Sanders’s run for governor calling her a “Warrior”.

Trump also listed Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota. With Noem on his list, we have to disagree with the former President on this one. Noem gives the appearance of an America First Republican however it is not the case as we reported earlier, “South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) is backtracking on a bill to ban transgender youth from playing sports with the opposite sex that they were born as. It appears as though she has been under pressure, and now plans to make an exception for sports on the collegiate level.
Noem also wants to add wording in the bill that shows “empathy” towards transgender youth. She posted a long thread on Twitter with a link to the edits she is requesting to the bill, and it’s hard to see exactly what’s going on without doing some digging. Joe Sneve put it in layman’s terms:
“Here’s the #TLDR version: Gov. Noem doesn’t want the ban on transgender athletes competing against members of the opposite sex to extend to the collegiate level.”
We posted a tweet breaking the news that people were speculating would happen in some form earlier today as well:
“Just in: South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem wants to make sure “empathy” is shown towards transgender youth, sends back bill banning transgender women from playing in women’s sports to exclude the ban from the collegiate level.”
This seems to be a softening of policy position based on possible left-wing and corporate pressure. Many in the America First wing of the right had tried to talk up Noem as one of the Trump-style politicians who would carry on the former president’s legacy. We previously reported that Noem quietly turned down former President Trump’s offer that would have allowed states to turn away refugees. Noem accepted them gladly during the Trump administration despite having the legal ability not to do so.
Many could make the argument that this is how red states turn blue, not to mention the potential disruption of American culture and values. It’s great for Republicans who value their freedoms that Noem didn’t have the same tough Covid-19 mask mandates as other states, but just because she got fame and attention from that, doesn’t mean she’s a successor to Trump and his America First legacy.“
It seems that Trump has taken a brief break from things and is now gearing up and we expect to hear more frequently from him. He also talked about his own social media platform which he told Lisa he will make announcements on in the near future. We are expecting some more news from him today!
