With liberals focused on trying to get as much money as they can passed in various spending bills that the Biden Administration is pushing, two moderate senators from opposite parties did a bizarre Halloween joke scene.
U.S. Sen Mitt Romney (R-UT) dressed as Ted Lasso from an Apple TV+ hit show and got on a knee to have “Biscuits with the boss” to U.S. Sen Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) in a gif that he tweeted.
In a subsequent picture which showed a snapshot of the handoff, Romney added, “She’s one tough cookie.”

Tim Young likely summed up the feelings of conservatives at the joke in a response where he said, “Typically I wouldn’t be for this, but seeing who all is triggered in the comments made me smile.”

Liberals were absolutely sent into a frenzy by the tweet from Romney, especially considering he has been a darling of theirs in regards to their anti-Trump ire.
Former Dem nominee for Congress who lost in 2020, Qasim Rashid, tweeted in response, “Americans are dying of COVID, lack adequate healthcare, lack affordable housing, lack a living wage, the climate crisis worsens daily—& two people who could vote to provide immediate relief to all of this unnecessary suffering are literally wasting time playing games. Reckless.”

LGBTQ activist Amy Siskind attempted to start a trend by responding, “LET THEM EAT BISCUITS! This is really sick, and poorly played. #LetThemEatBiscuits“

Siskind was so triggered, she added another two-part tweet where she asked, “Are you people sociopaths? You are mocking, and celebrating that her actions will withhold needed help from tens of millions of Americans in need?”
“I mean people are suffering and really need help right now. Not everyone is born into hundred of millions like you @MittRomney. Really sick!” Siskind complained.
