U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) responded today to a subpoena that the House Jan. 6 Select Committee issued to former President Donald Trump.
Greene also wondered when the committee is going to subpoena House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for her role in what took place that day.
The committee announced today in a tweet, “Pursuant to a unanimous vote, the Select Committee issued a subpoena to former President Donald Trump for testimony and records relevant to the Select Committee’s investigation into the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol and its causes.”
“In a letter to Mr. Trump, Chair @BennieGThompson and Vice Chair @RepLizCheney underscored Trump’s central role in a deliberate, orchestrated effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and block the transfer of presidential power,” the committee added along with screenshots of the letter.
Greene wondered in a quote tweet, “When are you going to subpoena @SpeakerPelosi for refusing to secure the Capitol on January 6th by purposely refusing President Trump’s requests for the National Guard to protect the Capitol?”
“Nancy Pelosi knew the intelligence reports and wouldn’t bring in the NG,” Greene insisted.

Nancy Pelosi knew the intelligence reports and wouldn’t bring in the NG. https://t.co/7f6VxzpOIJ
In July, Greene blasted Pelosi following former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon’s guilty verdict after he had defied a subpoena from the committee, which he was sentenced to jail for today.
In a tweet, Greene pointed out that “Nancy Pelosi refused President Trump’s multiple requests to have the National Guard at the Capitol.”
PolitiFact has, however, called any claims like that “false” and said there’s “No evidence Pelosi ‘rejected’ Trump’s authorization for ‘20,000 National Guard’ before Jan. 6 attack.”
“She should be in jail,” Greene insisted.

I can tell you when: on Jan. 2, 2023! And the criminal referral for her criminal contempt offense will remain in effect through Jan. 2025, when she will be arrested.
THESE people are PURE EVIL and just Fing MORONS…they are counting on RINOs to just sit back and take it….RINOs are a dying breed and will no longer be in control for long.
Expect Pelosi to be subpoenaed in early January when the new Congress convenes – to testify about HER role in Jan6th events. Break out the popcorn!
