U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) following former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon’s guilty verdict today.
In a tweet, Greene pointed out that “Nancy Pelosi refused President Trump’s multiple requests to have the National Guard at the Capitol.”
PolitiFact has, however, called any claims like that “false” and said there’s “No evidence Pelosi ‘rejected’ Trump’s authorization for ‘20,000 National Guard’ before Jan. 6 attack.”
“She should be in jail,” Greene insisted.

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) directly responded to the verdict as she said, “Steve Bannon is the latest in a long line of politically motivated convictions under the Biden Regime.”
“They know Steve is a prominent leader in our movement and are trying to silence him by any means,” Boebert continued.
Boebert then asserted that, “This regime is the most crooked in American history.”

Bannon himself told reporters outside of the courtroom after the verdict, expressing his “one disappointment.”
“The gutless members of that show trial J6 committee didn’t have the guts to come down here and testify in open court,” Bannon declared.

We previously reported that Bannon was found guilty of two contempt of Congress charges by a federal jury today and now faces jail time.
