Democrats and Republicans have taken two vastly different paths on what they feel happened on January 6th 2021. Both parties disavowed all illegal activities as they should.
However, many on the right feel the left exaggerated the situation to a degree for political gain and of course, that Ashli Babbit should not have been shot and killed.
U.S. House Rep. U.S. House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has supported January 6th arrestees and Ashli Babbit’s family and put her neck out for unfair treatment of Americans. Greene also told Republicans that Kevin McCarthy would be an ally to her and the America First movement.
McCarthy’s recent answer to a question may not put Greene in too great of a mood after she supported him while Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) dissented during his Speaker vote.
“REPORTER: “Do you think Ashli Babbit was murdered, or do you think the police officer who shot her was doing his job?” MCCARTHY: “I think the police officer did his job.”
We will see if Greene or others respond to McCarthy’s PC answer soon.
Many right wing Twitter users seem unhappy so far with the House Speaker.
