MTG Speaks Out on the House Floor Against What She Calls a Political ‘Two-Track Justice System Here in America’

According to recent reports, over 400 people have been charged following the events at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 as the FBI continues to search for more “suspects.”

U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spoke out today on the House floor against what she called a political “two-track justice system here in America.”

Greene shared video of the speech in a three part tweet.

“If you are part of the Democrat-sponsored domestic terrorist orgs BLM & Antifa, you can burn down cities & businesses and murder citizens but face no investigation or commission from Congress,” Greene began in the first tweet.

Greene continued, “Meanwhile, if you are a Trump supporter who happened to be at the Capitol on January 6th, exorbitant bail, solitary confinement, abuse by jail guards and no due process.”

“This is an outrage,” Greene concluded in the final tweet.

Ultimately, House Democrats voted 213-212 to approve a bill for $1.9 billion to bolster security at the Capitol following a tense and emotional debate.

Republicans called it a rush to judgment that should wait until security reviews about how to spend the money are completed and the bill’s fate is uncertain in the Senate.
