U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene or “MTG” (R-GA) has once again proposed another bill to shake things up in Washington D.C. Recently Democrats thought they could shift the direction of the wing at Greene’s back by forcing her off committees over some things she “liked” on social media and a couple of posts that some called controversial.
Nevertheless, Greene’s popularity is still holding, somewhat similar to the situation with former President Donald Trump, despite all the things the Democrats and “RINOs” have done to try to hurt both of their political careers.
Today, which is Valentine’s Day, Greene tweeted that she became an “original cosponsor” on January 28th of the “Protecting Individuals with Down Syndrome Act”. Below is the tweet string, with some support in the replies:
“I’m excited to announce that on January 28, I became an original cosponsor of the “Protecting Individuals with Down Syndrome Act” (H.R. 532) introduced by @RepRonEstes of Kansas!
2. H.R. 532 prohibits physicians from conducting abortions on children specifically because they have been diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

One person responded with the hashtag of “#mybodymychoice” below her tweet:

This is not the first bill Greene has introduced that if it succeeds, will send Democrat lawmakers into a tizzy. We recently reported that Greene proposed a bill to block federal funds from being able to be spent on enforcing gun laws against “law-abiding citizens”. This story got a large amount of interest from our readers.
“MTG” also proposed articles to impeach Joe Biden the day after he was inaugurated. Although there likely isn’t enough support for that, Green’s popularity grew immensely among Trump-supporting Republicans after that, which was shortly before she lost her committee assignments.
It’s hard to say for sure if the action against Greene from Democrats and Republicans who don’t like her was because of her aggressive moves lately, but it’s likely she will continue to be a voice for her voters as long as she can and in as strong of terms as she is able to do so.
Although former President Trump is banned from social media and just narrowly escaped impeachment for the second time yesterday and is now up against a possible 14th amendment use to block him from running again, his future is uncertain. Greene and Trump broadly represent the same faction of the GOP and Trump was a staunch pro-life Republican who will likely applaud Greene’s move.
Donald Trump also showed support for Down’s Syndrome individuals and other similar disabilities when he was in office, blowing away the myth that he is not a caring person.
