U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said in a campaign message that Twitter suspended her account around 1 a.m. Friday “without explanation,” according to CNBC.
Twelve hours later, Greene was able to tweet again and said that she “was just told @Twitter suspended me for 12 hrs in ‘error,’ on the same day Dems introduced a resolution to expel me from Congress.”
The suspension allegedly came hours before House Rep Jimmy Gomez, (D-CA), introduced a resolution to expel Greene from Congress.
Greene wondered, “What a coincidence?”
“Twitter’s little error wasn’t resolved until after 12 hr,” Greene pointed out.
Greene then tagged Jack Dorsey, Twitters CEO and asked “which employee made the ‘error?'”
“Reply to my email, Jack,” Greene urged, referencing an apparent email that she sent to Dorsey.

According to spokesman Eric Harris, Gomez has 72 House Democrats that have co-sponsored his one-page resolution, which simply states that “pursuant to article 1, section 5, clause 2 of the United States Constitution, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, be, and she hereby is, expelled from the House of Representatives.”
On the House floor this morning, Gomez said, “I believe some of my Republican colleagues, and one in particular, wish harm upon this legislative body. And I’m not saying this for shock value,”
Gomez then explained that “It’s the conclusion I drew after a member of Congress advocated violence against our peers, the speaker and our government.”
Democrratic Reps Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Maxine Waters (CA), and Joaquin Castro (TX) all signed onto the bill.
