He reported how CNN responded when President Trump returned to the White House from the Walter Reed Medical Center. Video from MSNBC shows anchor Joy Reid using even more unhinged language to describe the appearance.
“This is a Mussolini moment, Donald Trump, who looks like he has make-up on, which means someone had to get close enough to make up his face with his favorite orange patina. He’s standing there as if he’s a member of the old Russian Czar family,” Reid said.
The president has since tweeted out a video of his version of his arrival as shot from the White House complete with theme music.

Trump also has tweeted a video, calling the Medical Center “really something special.” He implored people not to let the virus “dominate” them.

He insisted that “we have the greatest country in the world” and that “nobody as a leader would not do what I did.” He told people to “get out there” and “be careful.”
“We have the best medicines in the world and it all happened very shortly and they’re all getting approved and the vaccines are coming momentarily,” he added.
