During a CNN “exclusive” interview, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made House Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) chuckle with a lame joke.
Pelosi quipped that she doesn’t think they should talk about Donald Trump while they are eating.
The Hill shared a clip from the interview where the reporter asked, “What would it mean if Donald Trump was reelected president?”
Schumer responded, “I don’t think it will happen. The American people have gotten wise to him. Took a little while, but they did.”
Pelosi then piped up, “I don’t think we should talk about him while we’re eating” as Schumer burst into laughter.
“See,” Schumer pointed out, as Pelosi continued, “Really? Another Trump presidency?” The reporter told Pelosi, “You called Donald Trump, quote, insane.”
“I think there’s a need for an intervention there by his family or somebody, I don’t think he’s on the level, no,” Pelosi added.

During another part of the interview, Schumer heaped praise on Pelosi for her ability to “handle” Trump as Speaker.
“Nancy instinctively knew how to handle Trump, because for her first 35-40 years of life, she raised five children, and she knew how to deal with children, and that’s what helped her deal with Trump,” Schumer insisted.

They laugh, make crude jokes.
Why? Because they can.
Meanwhile our GOP sits silent, bent, cowering.
