Parag Agrawal will be the new Twitter CEO. This comes after Jack Dorsey’s abrupt resignation was just recently announced, causing Twitter stock trading to be temporarily suspended.
Agrawal was put in charge of Project Bluesky by Dorsey in 2019 to, in part, stop misinformation on the internet.
He agreed with Jack Dorsey’s long-winded explanation of banning then President Donald Trump from Twitter permanently earlier this year as well.

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) foolishly suggested that someone “better” than Jack Dorsey may step in. Many were doubtful of this though.
“Jack Dorsey is rumored to be stepping down as Twitter CEO. Great. He’s been a disaster. Hopefully someone who believes in free speech and our Constitution will take the reins and reinstate the tons of Americans unfairly banned.”

As we reported earlier, it’s more likely we will see more censorship of right-wing folks if any change at all. Facebook, which also banned former President Trump, finally gave a timeline of when he might be allowed back, depending on his rhetoric at that time. But as of now, Twitter’s ban was permanent.
