Newly-Painted PRIDE Crosswalk ‘Damaged’ in Canadian Town By Tire Tracks, Police Seek Burnout Suspect

Recently, police in Ontario, Canada reported that a newly-painted Pride crosswalk in the town of Paris was “damaged” by tire tracks and shared a picture.

They asked if anybody had information to please contact them, in an effort to find the offenders of the apparent burnout crime.

Some responders to the post pointed out that the crosswalk went across a road, so it’s unclear what crime may have been committed, but Twitter user “Draper04” attempted to dispel those notions by calling them out in a tweet which was then ratioed.

“I love all the closet homophobes trying to make it seem like this wasn’t done intentionally. Generally speaking, you shouldn’t be doing burnouts on crosswalks. If that’s just normal driving to you, please go return your license to wherever you got it from,” Draper04 said.

Conservative social media influencer Scott Greer remarked about the situation in a quote tweet, “I thought this could only happen in Cuck Island, but no it’s Canada. Imagine being arrested for the crime of driving on the road.”

The incident happened a couple of weeks ago, but thus far, it does not appear that any suspects have been identified and it’s unclear what crime they would charge them with, possibly a hate crime.

Since the beginning of June, which is considered PRIDE month, the Ontario police department have made a number of posts celebrating the month to show their inclusivity.
