Nick Sandmann Announces Lawsuit Settled with Washington Post on His 18th Birthday ‘2 Down, 6 to Go’

Nick Sandmann, who previously settled a lawsuit with CNN over the incident that was misrepresented at the 2019 March for Life in DC, has announced that a lawsuit that was filed against The Washington Post has also been settled today, on his 18th birthday.

He referenced the previous settled lawsuit in a tweet and said, “We have settled with WAPO and CNN.” He continued, “The fight isn’t over. 2 down. 6 to go.” He then said, “Don’t hold your breath @jack (Jack Dorsey).”

In another tweet, he announced that today is his 18th birthday and thanked his supporters.

“On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to @ToddMcMurtry & @LLinWood for their advocacy. Thanks to my family & millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me. I still have more to do,” he said.

His lawyers tweeted out as well about the settlement and mentioned the lawsuits that are still pending and the work ahead.

McMurty: While @N1ckSandmann has settled with @washingtonpost and @CNN, he still has claims against @ABC, @NBCNews, @CBS, @nytimes, @Gannett and @RollingStone. Lots of work ahead. @LLinWood#FightBack
