Former Republican James Comey who has been one of the biggest thorns in the side of President Trump just surprised everyone today but taking a stance against Senator Chuck Schumer. Although Comey’s credibility has been called into question by both sides, many on the right and in the Trump camp calling him a “deep state leaker”, its a shock to see him stand up against one of President Trump’s biggest haters nonetheless. They say a broken clock is right twice a day…
In a tweet today, James Comey, the former FBI Director who was fired by President Trump at the behest of Rod Rosenstein, he says it’s wrong for an elected official to attack federal judges. “It doesn’t matter who you are or who the judges are.”
This is a massive “slap” in the face to Chuck Schumer who is getting all kinds of pushback today. Earlier we reported that Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) is pushing for censure of Schumer for apparent threats to Justice Kavanaugh and Gorsuch at a pro-abortion rally. See Comey’s tweet below:
It is wrong for elected officials to attack federal judges. It doesn’t matter who you are or who the judges are. If you do it you should apologize. We need leaders who are a contrast to Trump, not a mirror.

James Comey is famous for flubbing the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails in 2016 when he came out and announced that although it appeared there might have been criminal conduct, “no reasonable prosecutor would take the case”.
Earlier we reported:
Yesterday we reported that U.S. Senator and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) went off the deep end so to speak, with implied threats against Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. Schumer “warned” them that they have “released the whirlwind and you will pay the price” at a pro-abortion speech.
Immediately Steve Scalise and many others called out Schumer for the outrageous idea he had to “threaten” the justices. Justice Roberts issued an official rebuke of Schumer’s actions, a rare thing to do for a sitting Supreme Court member.
Now Schumer is in hot water in the senate, and unlike the House, the Republicans hold the power. That means Schumer could actually be in real trouble. It was announced by Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) that he would be filing a motion to censure minority leader Schumer.
Hawley stated in one tweet: “Now @chuckschumer is threatening Supreme Court Justices personally, to the point of implying their physical safety is endangered. Disgusting, shameful, and frankly, WEAK”. His quote was a caption of the rebuke from Chief Justice Roberts. Hawley then calls on Schumer to apologize, but says he “has no shame”. He then goes on: “So tomorrow I will introduce a motion to censure Schumer for his pathetic attempt at intimidation of #SupremeCourt“.
