The House will finally be sending over the articles of impeachment to the Senate. This morning Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced the House managers to present the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate. Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Jerry Nadler (D-NY) are included in the list of Democrats who will be presenting the case for impeachment to the Senate. Adam Schiff has played a very large roll in the entire impeachment. The whistleblower who reported a phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukranian President Zelensky met with Schiff’s staff before filing the complaint. Schiff also read a parody of the phone call into the record of a House DNI hearing on a whistleblower complaint. Schiff has been pushing hard against the President since he took office.
Jerry Nadler, Democrat Congressman from New York, who was staunchly against partisan impeachment in the 90s, voted for both articles of impeachment of President Donald Trump. Only Democrats voted for the articles of impeachment with some democrats voting Nah and one voting present. Making only the dissent bipartisan.
Later today the house will vote on sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate. These are the managers House Democrats have selected to prosecute/present the case in the Senate:
