Nancy Pelosi went on CNN Friday night and spoke with Wolf Blitzer about the peace agreements the Trump administration has sponsored this month between Israel and two Arab states, Bahrain and the UAE.
She called the agreements “a distraction” from the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. She ended the interview by saying that “Right now, our country has a sickness and it begins at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”

From Real Clear Politics:
Asked if the president deserves any credit for helping sponsor the deals, Pelosi said, “Well, hopefully, they won’t–” before continuing: “Hopefully they’re beneficial to the region.”
“Good for him for having a distraction on a day when the numbers of people who are affected and the numbers of people who are dying from this virus only increases,” Pelosi said.
Pelosi also said in the interview that Trump “only wants to scare people” by telling “them their vote might not matter because their vote might not be delivered in time by the postal system, which he is dismantling.”
“We don’t agonize, we organize and we are organizing to elect a Democratic House, a Democratic Senate, Joe Biden President of the United States, Kamala Harris Vice President, so that we can make the change,” she added.
