Sarah Weddington, who represented ‘Jane Roe’ in Roe V Wade has died. Weddington made her career off of Roe V. Wade pushing for what she called Women’s Rights. What many define as a woman’s choice in their reproductive health.
When Weddington decided to represent ‘Jane Roe’ in front of the Supreme Court it was very personal for her. She had disclosed before she took the case she and her husband had traveled to Mexico so that she could have an abortion. She successfully argued her first case in front of the supreme court. A landmark case that could be overturned by our current Supreme Court.
Weddington was found unresponsive in her home, by her assistant. It is currently unknown what her cause of death was but she had many health issues of late.
Planned Parenthood even has a clinic named after the lawyer in San Diego Califonia. Planned Parenthood President, Alexis McGill Johnson tweeted, “What a loss. What a tremendous legacy. Planned Parenthood will continue to honor Sarah Weddington’s work every day — by keeping up the fight to ensure that EVERYONE has access to abortion.” With the news of Weddington’s death.
What a loss. What a tremendous legacy.

Weddington was a speaker at many Planned Parenthood events, she was an icon for the abortionist movement. As technology has improved it has threatened the abortionist movement. Weddington also served as a Texas state Rep for three terms and then became general counsel for the U.S. Department of Agriculture under Jimmy Carter.
With the case that could overturn Roe V. Wade with the Supreme Court by returning power to the individual states up in the air, abortionists are worried.
The country is awaiting the decision from the Supreme Court on the fate of Roe V. Wade. This is a giant loss for liberals.
