Police Arrest Suspected NYC Subway Shooter Frank James and Take Him Into Custody After Manhunt

The suspected NYC subway shooter, Frank James, was arrested today by police and taken into custody after a manhunt.

It had been more than 24 hours since the shooting in Sunset Park, Brooklyn turned a morning commute into chaos.

This morning, NYC Mayor Eric Adams said they are now calling James a suspect, instead of just a person of interest, and police had released new pictures of him.

According to police sources, James unloaded 33 rounds from a gun that he bought from a pawn shop in Ohio more than 10 years ago.

A video has been released which purports to show James being taken into custody by a number of police officers.

Another video has been released which purports to show the arrest from a different angle.

CNN reported that 62-year-old James was arrested by patrol cops in the East Village in New York City.

Patrol cops from the 9th Precinct downtown arrested him, according to law enforcement officials.

Police say that James shot 10 people and injured 13 more during the attack by setting off smoke bombs while wearing a gas mask.

Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro was unimpressed with the response from Adams to the subway attack.

It was previously reported that Adams is working remotely from Gracie Mansion where he is isolating as he is battling COVID.

On yesterday’s episode of “The Five,” Pirro had a message for Adams after he released a video statement from the mansion following the attack.

“You’ve got a mayor, Mayor Adams, put on the damn mask and get out there. I’ll tell you why. He’s a cop. This guy knows crime,” Pirro explained.

Pirro then urged, “Stop wussing around in your house because you may have Covid. Put the mask on and get out there and make New Yorkers believe you are a cop.”
