In an Arizona primary election held yesterday for State Senate, Pro-Trump retired Air Force pilot Wendy Rogers dispatched incumbent Sylvia Allen by a wide margin, garnering 59% of the votes.
We had previously written about how Rogers had called for an abolition of abortion in Arizona and in a letter to the editor published yesterday locally, she vowed “to stand up to the socialists, defend Arizona from crime and illegal immigration, defend our great police officers, protect our unborn babies, and stand up for our conservative values.”
She echoed those sentiments in a victory tweet.
The race has been called by AP. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the overwhelming support. We sent a strong message that protecting gun rights, the right to life, and strong borders are needed and wanted now more than ever.https://t.co/vofg8Z58lG

Rogers now turns her attention to Democrat Felicia French, who believes that her district should be “smartly re-allocating existing funds to high-poverty districts.” She shared a graphic that would imply that she wants to defund “corrections funding” and make things more “socially equitable.”
To reduce crime, we must invest in education—fixing schools to give at-risk children real educational opportunities, paying teachers livable wages to attract/ retain talent & smartly re-allocating existing funds to high-poverty districts is fiscally smart AND socially equitable https://t.co/woRLw01cmW
