U.S. House Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) fell off a roof and was hurt badly as we reported on the 18th here. It was unclear at the time just how bad things may have been for the popular congressman from Florida.
Many have been wishing him well and praying for him as he fights to recover from the tragic incident.
Tonight we can report from the Steube Twitter account that there is good news to some degree, although he has more healing to go and we do not know the details of potential permanent injuries just yet.
“UPDATE: The Steube family is grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and prayers. Rep. Steube was moved out of the ICU this afternoon. He remains hospitalized under the care of a great team.
We give all glory to God for his healing. We will have more to say as details become clear about the timeline for his recovery.”
We hope Rep. Steube makes a full recovery soon. We will also continue to monitor the situation as it develops while we anticipate good news.
