Reuters Reports that a U.S. Navy Jet Flew by Baltic Sea Hours After Nord Stream Pipelines Burst

Recently there has been much controversy regarding attacked Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic sea. There are multiple different reasons for the controversy. The main reason is of course how that situation will affect Europe, the ocean, energy prices, and the Russian/Ukrainian war.

The effects of this will be rippling such that it hurts many around the world. The other controversy of about who did the attack, and whether or not it’s “allowed” on mainstream platforms and outlets to ask the question.

Many official pundits have said Russia’s Vladimir Putin did it so that he would “cry the victim”. That seems to be the “official stance”. Outlets have accused Fox News host Tucker Carlson of spreading “Russian propaganda” for wondering if someone else might have done it.

A new report, not necessarily proving who attacked the pipelines, does raise eyebrows. Reuters is reporting that a U.S. Navy jet was seen flying by the area hours after the attack and the U.S. Navy confirmed the jet sighting.

A U.S. Navy reconnaissance aircraft flew near the site of the ruptured Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Baltic Sea hours after the first damage emerged, according to tracking reviewed by Reuters, a flight Washington said was routine. They reported in part.

We may never know for sure what happened, but we hope for a peaceful resolution and the ability for average citizens around the world to ask obvious questions without being told to be quiet. We will continue to monitor this story as it develops.

Reuters also reported on the U.S. Navy confirmation and the aircraft itself:

The identity of the plane could not immediately be established because of the type of rotating identification code sometimes used by such planes, but the U.S. Navy confirmed it was an American aircraft when presented with data by Reuters.
