The creator of the original show ”The Office”, Ricky Gervais, who ticked off all of Hollywood last time he hosted the Golden Globes, spoke out, sort of. Gervais has previously opined about his lack of ability to “do what he wants” and about cancel culture.
Many in Hollywood are breaking ranks. It’s not a surprise when Kid Rock golfs with former President Donald Trump.
That’s not to say that Kid Rock is not appreciated by conservatives, and he definitely gets push back. However, many celebs not previously thought of as politicians have been shocking the world with anti cancel culture views as the ”woke hive-mind virus” as some have called it spreads.
This is one reason Elon Musk, the world’s richest and most successful man, wants to run Twitter. Even with Musk on the verge of being in charge, Twitter is still refusing to unban thousands of prominent conservatives, and even suspended African American rapper Kanye West recently.
Gervais sees the writing on the wall and is glad he went out on a high note, as clearly the cancel culture cabal (in our opinion) is hard to surmount.
Perhaps with upcoming elections, those weary of political correctness may send a message. Until then, Gervais can likely count his lucky stars he’s not banned on Twitter too (yet) for ”stepping out of line”.

It’s no surprise to us that many are speaking out. What will the pushback be from the floundering left?
