The Major didn’t allow for questions items were removed from the home.
According to Rochester City Newspaper, “Justin Roj, the mayor’s spokesperson, released a brief statement at 6:55 p.m. that read: “The mayor is just learning about the events that unfolded this afternoon and has no more information than the rest of the community. She hopes to learn more details this evening and will have a statement tomorrow.”
The next day, prosecutors revealed that the Mayor’s husband Timothy Granison was involved in a drug ring in Rochester.

Warren made public for the first time after this that she separated from her husband years ago. NBC Reported, “The mayor said she’s not a target of the probe against husband Timothy Granison, but questioned whether the timing of his arrest is tied to her current bid for a third term at City Hall.“
“I find the timing of yesterday’s events, three weeks before early voting starts, to be highly suspicious,” she said during a five-minute address on Thursday defending herself. “There’s nothing implicating me in these charges announced today, because I’ve done nothing wrong.”
Warren was indicted in 2020 with felony charges alleging campaign finance violations. The specific charges are a scheme to defraud in the first degree and violating state election law. While all of this is going on Warren is seeking a third term as Mayor of Rochester, New York.
