House Bill 1571 made its way through both chambers of the Florida state legislature. The bill prohibits picketing and protesting outside of a person’s residence.
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed this much needed bill into law. This puts other red states with no similar legislation to shame. Particularly RINO red state Governors are to blame.
DeSantis said: ”sending unruly mobs to private residences, like we have seen with the angry crowds in front of the homes of Supreme Court justices, is inappropriate. This bill will provide protection to those living in residential communities and I am glad to sign it into law.”
Once the law takes effect, law enforcement officers will provide a warning to any person picketing or protesting outside of a dwelling, and will only make arrests if the person does not peaceably disperse.
Previously we reported about a riot in Colorado in a neighborhood when police told residents to shelter in place. Hopefully other states look to Florida for leadership and stop this evil, rotten behavior.
