Last summer, Joe Biden shared a video that included an image of Kyle Rittenhouse. Biden captioned the video “There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night.” This would lead many to believe he was inferring Rittenhouse is a White supremacist who was causing acts of violence. The video and tweet are still up.

Attorney for Nick Sandmann, Todd McMurtry stated after Rittenhouse’s acquittal that he could have a case against President Biden. McMurtry told Fox News after the acquittal, “What you take from that tweet is that Kyle Rittenhouse was using his rifle and engaging in White supremacist misconduct so it’s actionable. Not necessarily going to win, but it’s actionable.”
Chuck Callesto tweeted, “BREAKING REPORT: Defamation Attorney Todd McMurtry, [who helped Sandmann reach a settlement with CNN] Argues Kyle Rittenhouse May Have Viable Case Against Joe Biden…”

McMurtry has helped Nick Sandmann sue left-leaning media outlets who defamed him after a misleading video was released. The media portrayed Sandmann as the instigator and a racist. Currently, Sandmann has settled with CNN and The Washington Post with other suits outstanding.
In a spot on Fox News, McMurtry also stated that Kyle has “some pretty solid claims” against the left-leaning media who smeared him.

Recently while on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother Wendy told Hannity, “When I saw that I was shocked, I was angry. President Biden don’t know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a White supremacist. He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son. He defamed him.”
Many see that what Biden did was defamatory Rittenhouse, who there is no question was only defending himself for votes.
Rittenhouse has been in contact with Sandmann. Sandmann has been advocating for Kyle to sue the media for defamation.

People want to see Joe Biden and the media held accountable for their actions in smearing a 17-year-old child who was acting in self-defense.
