U.S. Senator-elect John Fetterman (D-PA) and Kim Kardashian have been included in a New York Times list of most stylish people of 2022.
According to the publication, Fetterman “is going to bring Carhartt to the Capitol.”
Fetterman wasn’t the only Democratic elected official to be included in the list, as U.S. House Rep Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and New York City Mayor Eric Adams also made the cut.
Biden-appointed Supreme Court Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson, known for her statement necklaces, was included in the list as well.
Kardashian, whose inclusion was less shocking than Fetterman’s, was included along with celebrities like Beyoncé and Harry Styles.
Conservative Twitter user “kaitlin” said of Fetterman’s selection, “i get that the new york times is basically a PR firm for democrats and liberals, but saying that john fetterman is stylish…is kinda cringe.”

The Washington Examiner’s Byron York noted that Fetterman was presented “Between a ‘queer visionary,’ a soccer fullback, and Mary J. Blige.”

The late Queen Elizabeth II was also named and the Times shared a photo of her wearing an elegant blue dress and hat with white gloves.
Apparently, the list was also not limited to people as it also included the James Webb Space Telescope, for capturing pictures of the universe this year, and the spotted lanternfly.
