‘Sloppy’ Chris Christie Shocked that Donald Trump Defended himself Against him, Claims he’s now a ‘Target’ of ‘New Tantrum’

Former Republican N.J. Governor Chris Christie attacked former President Donald Trump on ABC’s this week, at least in the eyes of Trump. Christie said “I don’t think” Trump can beat Biden to a panel of Democrats.

Former and possible future President Donald Trump is known for his counter punch. After Christie threw shade, Trump did exactly that, posting to Truth Social:

“Sloppy” Chris Christie, the failed former Governor of New Jersey, spent almost his entire last year in office campaigning in New Hampshire for the Republican Nomination for President. Much like his term in office, where he left with an Approval Rating of just 9%, his Presidential campaign was a complete disaster. He endorsed me the following day, later recommended Chris Wray for the FBI (how did that work out?), went down in flames, and then was SALVAGED by ABC FAKE NEWS. I never wanted him!”

Chris Christie now claims that actually he is the target of an attack from Donald Trump, appearing to play the victim of something he may have started.

“I’m the target of Donald Trump’s new tantrum. None of his lies about me today bothered him when he asked me to prep him for every general election debate or offered me 3 different cabinet posts. He’s the only man to lose to Biden outside Delaware. That loss to Joe still stings.”

Christie has been throwing shade against Trump for some time now. If something stings for anyone, it seems like Christie is stung that he did not win the GOP nominee for president in 2016. Can Donald Trump beat Joe Biden in 2024? That’s anyone’s guess.

Many Republicans feel they were outsmarted by Democrats ballot harvesting where they can legally, while instead of doing the same, Republicans mainly pushed in person same day voting. Now, Republicans are shifting strategies, but no one knows if it may be too little too late for blue and swing states for Trump to win again.
