Steven Miller calls on the House GOP to be “relentless”. He suggests the start with “a few select committees”
Miller tweeted:
“GOP may very well end up with around the exact same size majority that Pelosi wielded these last 2 years. The lesson here is for Republicans to be as relentless in pursuit of Justice as Democrats were in pursuit of tyranny. A few Select Committees would be a good place to start.”
With Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, the Democrats impeached former President Trump twice while he was in office. After Biden took control, they then created a January 6th committee, enlisting only those who were onboard with “getting” Donald Trump.
Pelosi rejected McCarthy’s picks for the committee and instead selected Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney who some would say had it out for Trump.
It looks like Republicans will have the majority in the house and Miller is calling on them to do some investigating of their own.
Kevin McCarthy was just voted in to keep his leadership position in the House, it seems it may be up to him to move forward with investigations. Many want an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop and its contents as a start. Some have called for an impeachment of President Biden, but it seems McCarthy isn’t interested in that.
We will see what GOP leadership decides to do with the power they will wield if they hold the majority as it looks like they will.
