Former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon was defiant in an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson tonight after being found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress.
The Columbia Bugle shared clips from the interview in a pair of tweets.
“#BREAKING Steve Bannon Joins Tucker Carlson For His First Interview Since Guilty Verdict Steve:”
“I’m not going to back down one inch, at all.”
“I will never back off. I support Trump and the Constitution & I’m not backing off one inch. If I go to jail, so be it”
“People have to understand, right now this is an ideological war & we can not lose. The fate of the country is over the next couple of years.”

As we previously reported, U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) following Bannon’s guilty verdict.
“She should be in jail,” Greene insisted.
U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) directly responded to the verdict as she said, “Steve Bannon is the latest in a long line of politically motivated convictions under the Biden Regime.”
“They know Steve is a prominent leader in our movement and are trying to silence him by any means,” Boebert continued.
Boebert then asserted that, “This regime is the most crooked in American history.”
