On Friday, President Trump called for the end of the “Seattle takeover.” He criticized the Mayor Jenny Durkan for calling it “a Summer of Love.” He said that “these Liberal Dems don’t have a clue.”

Durkan saw his tweet and responded with one of her own, calling Seattle “fine.” She told him not to be “so afraid of democracy.” Senator Ted Cruz defended the president and asked the Mayor, “Who voted for the warlords?”
