‘The Offspring’ Won’t Allow Drummer to Tour Because He Declined to Get Covid Vaccine for ‘Medical Reasons’

We previously reported that a band member from Mumford and Sons quit over support for Andy Ngo’s journalistic efforts to expose the radical leftist groups Antifa and BLM in the Portland, OR region. He said he harbored no ill will in so many words, but had to go his own way. This story is different but similar. The drummer from “The Offspring” also claimed to not have any ill will toward his band.

But in this instance, it sounds like he is not going to be allowed to tour with the band because he isn’t getting a vaccine, in his allegations due to medical reasons that he feels makes it unsafe. We will leave it to you to draw whatever conclusions you wish from the long tweet thread.

We don’t think this is fair of the band at all, but par for the course as of late. Most bands and famous people for that matter tend to swing left politically. We think there is pressure for famous people to be liberal and that if they aren’t it’s hard for them to stay successful, in our view. Although the Covid vaccine isn’t political, many people have made it such, sadly.

Pete Parada says in the third of 17 tweets:

“I caught the virus over a year ago, it was mild for me – so I am confident I’d be able to handle it again, but I’m not so certain I’d survive another post-vaccination round of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, 3/17”, yet he is not able to tour with the band anyway. Read everything below and draw your own conclusions…
