Former President Donald Trump announced today the upcoming launch of his own social media network which will be called “TRUTH Social.”
Trump said in a press release release, “I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable.”
“I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all,” Trump explained.
Trump declared, “I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech. Everyone asks me why doesn’t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!”

Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., appeared spoke with Fox News’ Sean Hannity tonight and told Hannity that “It’s a big deal.”
Truth Social is “a Big Tent, an open and Free Network for people to be able to communicate, to exercise your First Amendment rights,” Trump Jr. asserted.
TPUSA’s Benny Johnson provided a link to the site, truthsocial.com, which Trump Jr. urged people to go to, and on the site it offers an opportunity to join the “waiting list.”

The Hill reported that the site’s upcoming launch was coupled with the announcement that TMTG has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Digital World Acquisition Corp. that will allow it to become a publicly listed company.
Digital World Acquisition Corp., according to MarketWatch, is a blank check company that was founded on Dec. 11, 2020 and had no specific business plan and was started for the purposes of acquiring or merging with other companies.
Additionally, the TMTG announced plans to launch a subscription-based video service called TMTG+ that will feature “non-woke” programming and the new endeavor will be led by reality television producer Scott St. John who has worked on shows like “Deal or No Deal” and “America’s Got Talent.”
