Cook Political’s Dave Wasserman is making a bold call before anyone else. He is saying that the Trump endorsed candidate for the GOP gubernatorial primary in Wisconsin has won.
There are no official news outlets calling this race yet, to be clear, as of the time of this writing. However, it’s likely that Wasserman has made an informed analysis of the remaining areas left to be tallied and believes it is in the bag for Michels.
“I’ve seen enough: Trump-endorsed Tim Michels (R) defeats former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch (R) in the #WIGOV GOP primary and will face Gov. Tony Evers (D) in the fall.”

This is a developing story that may be updated with time.
If Michels pulls it off, it will be a win for Donald Trump even despite the cloud of bad news over his head due to the recent FBI raid of Mar-A-Lago.
