TMZ has reported that to the dismay of Bruce Springsteen, the masses will now indeed find out about a DWI arrest that he underwent last November on the 14th. Perhaps he wasn’t happy enough about Joe Biden becoming the president, or perhaps he was celebrating, or perhaps he was allegedly drinking and driving for some other reason.
We don’t condone this type of activity for any reason and want you to stay safe out there no matter what side of the political aisle you are on. Recently Springsteen did a Jeep commercial that was allegedly supposed to promote unity after he spent four years bashing Donald Trump and his family. Many are questioning his sincerity or mocking him outright.
TMZ reported:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the Boss was arrested on November 14 at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, NJ. Springsteen was cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area. He’ll have a court appearance coming in the next few weeks.
We’re told the rock icon was cooperative throughout the arrest. As far as we can tell, this is his first arrest for DWI.
The DWI news comes on the heels of a different first for Bruce — he was featured in his first-ever commercial on Super Bowl Sunday for Jeep. The 2-minute ad featured Bruce in an unspecified middle America type town … offering his patriotic vision and a message of hope.
We’ve reached out to Springsteen’s camp for comment, but no word back yet.
Tim Dillon tweeted: “He wasn’t in the middle”. Jon Decious responded to that: “Wait, is the @Jeep commercial the actual footage of him getting pulled over?”

Previously we reported about Springsteen’s divisive rhetoric in part:
This is how you know that actors and musicians are out of touch. Many of Bruce Springsteen’s fans are working-class white males and other patriotic Americans of all backgrounds as well.
Only someone who has made more money than they could ever spend has the luxury to trash the President of the United States of America who is supported by much of his own base.
Springsteen doesn’t care though, as he spoke in a vile manner about the Trump administration, calling for Donald Trump to be voted out in the worst possible terms.
“It is time for an exorcism in our nation’s capital. Welcome to our Halloween/Election Day monster mash. This is Vol. 14 of ‘From My Home to Yours’ titled ‘Farewell to the Thief.’ In just a few days, we’ll be throwing the bums out. I thought it was a f***ing nightmare but it was so true.” WATCH:

It seems like no matter who is the president, celebrities like Mark Cuban, Kathy Griffin, and Bruce Springsteen just can’t be happy in our view. Springsteen said he’d leave in a plane to another country if Trump won again. Despite Biden winning though, I guess Bruce just drove drunk instead. More as the story develops.
Update: Jeep has pulled the ad.
