Following a successful rally in Arizona, former President Donald Trump went on the offensive today against some of his favorite targets at MSNBC.
In a statement made through his Save America PAC, Trump wondered, “Will Morning Joe be canceled?”
“He and Mika’s ratings are very low—they are having an extremely hard time finding an audience to listen to the Fake News they spurn,” Trump explained.
“Losing them would be very sad—hope it doesn’t happen!” Trump added, perhaps sarcastically.
Trump then shifted gears and noted, “On another front, looks like Unjoy Reid, the racist commentator on MSDNC (MSNBC), is toast.”
“Her stupidity is only surpassed by her absolute lack of television persona. She never had it, and never will. The only thing she’s good at is spewing racist hate but obviously, no one is listening!” Trump concluded.

As The Hill reported, Joe Scarborough and his co-host Mika Brzezinski acknowledged Trump’s statement shortly after it was issued.
“We do spurn fake news,” Brzezinski suggested, as Scarbororough chimed in, “A couple things here,” grinning, as he sipped his iced coffee.
“I’ve never heard him talk about spurn. Using that as a word. I don’t use the word,” Scarborough claimed, adding, “Secondly, he can’t quit us. Even had to say, ‘It’d be a shame.’ I’m surprised, we’ve been talking football for two hours.”
The panel on the show laughed as they read a chyron displayed on the screen during the segment that attempted to mock Trump: “Morning Joe thanks faithful viewer: Florida retiree sends thoughts on show.”
Currently, MSNBC is the second-rated cable news channel, although they lag far behind Fox News overall in ratings.
Joy Reid’s program “Reidout” is regularly clobbered by Fox News’ “Fox News Primetime” and the gap is only likely to widen with Jesse Watters taking over the program.
“Morning Joe” holds its own a bit better, but they are still regularly behind Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”
