Tucker Carlson began his show on Fox News last night by slamming the botched departure from Afghanistan by the Biden Administration.
Carlson eventually shifted to the reasons and dropped a bombshell as to why the country collapsed to Taliban rule so quickly, which he blamed on their attempts to impose a “woke orthodoxy” on a culture that didn’t want it.
After listing various failures abroad by the United States in the past, Carlson explained, “Part of the reason is that for decades, left-wing academics in the U.S. have used the developing world as a laboratory, to test their theories of how societies ought to ordered but not.”
Carlson continued, “Over time, they’ve constructed a parallel government of NGOs (Non-governmental organizations) that work alongside our Pentagon and State Department as well as with the United Nations to impose radical social engineering projects on the world’s poorest people who have no say in the matter.”
“Over the past 20 years for example, Congress has allocated close to a billion dollars to export academic feminism to Afghanistan. Where’d that money go? It went to programs like a two-years Masters degree in gender and women’s studies offered at Kabul University, something Afghans apparently never knew they needed,” Carlson lamented
Carlson then flashed a graphic that contained a quote which the heading described as a “Failure to impose woke orthodoxy.”
“Another U.S. government effort meanwhile funded ‘activities that educate and engage Afghan men and boys to challenge stereotypes,'” Carlson reported, adding sarcastically, “Right, they weren’t doing that enough.”
Carlson then explained how affirmative action was pushed in the Afghanistan military and government, where they would force them to install women in parliament.
Some women hadn’t even been to the provinces they claimed to representing, Carlson said and noted that the whole thing caused “revolts.”
