Fox News’ Tucker Carlson reported tonight on his show about a little known fact that Vice President Kamala Harris once dated “Tabloid TV show host” Montel Williams.
Carlson played a video of the two from Inside Edition where the two walked the red carpet together at a 2001 event and the commentary said that Williams used to have to introduce Harris because he was the famous one.
The video was reported on in 2019 by the syndicated newsmagazine, who reported that Williams said at the time on Twitter, “Kamala Harris and I briefly dated about 20 years ago when we were both single. So what? I have great respect for Sen. Harris.”
Carlson indicated that he would like to speak to Williams, if possible, to find out what it was like to date Harris.
In the segment, Carlson also noted that Harris went to school in Canada and has a history of dating powerful men, as Inside Edition also reported.
Inside Edition reported previously that “Long before Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris made waves during the debates, she got her first taste of the limelight when she briefly dated talk show host Montel Williams.”
The red carpet event that they were seen together at was the Eighth Annual Race to Erase MS in Los Angeles and they were accompanied by Williams’ daughter Ashley.
Harris was working for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office at the time, while Williams had just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which he has lived with now for over two decades.
