Dan Bongino Blasts Thomas Binger for ‘Chicken Wing Stance’ After he Points AR-15 in Courtroom

Fox News Unfiltered host, Dan Bongino mocked Thomas Binger, a prosecutor in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, for placing his finger on the trigger and his “chicken wing stance” in a post on Instagram.

“Show me you’ve never held a rifle without telling me you’ve never held a rifle… Look at this clown’s chicken wing stance and finger on the trigger!”

Many gun military, and gun enthusiasts know that a “tucked elbow” stance reduces target area, by bringing the elbow close into the body instead of out in the air, and also makes it earlier to maneuver in tight spaces, in comparison to “chicken wing” stance.

Many others on Twitter shared their thought on the prosecutor’s stance.

@shinonome94 shared “Chicken Wing stance is an immediate 5/10 Finger on trigger and not demonstrating gun safety is an immediate disqualification. Clearly a clown.”

Matt Walsh tweeted, “Kenosha DA pointed a gun at the jury with his finger on the trigger”. Which @1shieldDefence added, “Hey, DA Binger. Feel free to sign up for one of my CCW classes. I teach a whole section on firearm safety; especially how to keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.”

@PatriotWynIV shared a picture of Binger holding a gun next to a picture of Rittenhouse holding a gun as well and caption them, “Wow in the courtroom. The 17 years old kid understands gun safety more than prosecutor. Pointing gun on the ground, and the finger is away from the trigger. Let’s Go Brandon!”. @gramps added, “Sign petition to disbar Binger-NEVER point a gun at jury they’ve been threatened by Democrats already”.

With closing arguments finalized today, the jury will start their deliberations on Tuesday. According to USA Today, “The jury was sent home Monday evening after hearing hours of closing arguments from prosecutors and the defense about the events that led up to Rittenhouse opening fire with an AR-15 styled rifle during violent protests in Wisconsin.

Judge Bruce Schroeder said the panel would reconvene Tuesday at 9 a.m. local time. The jury currently consists of 18 members but that will be whittled down to 12 Tuesday who will decide Rittenhouse’s fate.

“Members of the jury, the time has now come with a great burden of reaching a just, fair and conscientious decision in this case will be placed totally with you,” Schroeder said. “You will not be swayed by sympathy, passion, prejudice or political beliefs.”
