Vaccinated and Boosted Barack Obama Announces Positive COVID Test

Former President Barack Obama today announced that he has tested positive for COVID, despite being vaccinated and boosted.

Obama announced in a tweet, “I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise.”

“Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative. It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down,” Obama added.

Comedian Tommy Campbell told Obama, “Get well!” and added a heart emoji.

Journalist Michael Ordoña replied, “Thank you for modeling responsible behavior. Get well soon, Mr. President.”

GOP Congressional candidate Lavern Spicer, however, told Obama in response, “But if you still got COVID then… well I ain’t even gonna bother you got your check to cash!”

It appears that the former president will be okay but many have noticed that COVID has taken a back seat to the Ukraine conflict.

This news might give it a little boost to the mainstream news cycle again.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla also said today that he believes a fourth dose of the COVID vaccine will be necessary to continue to help keep hospitalizations manageable and sicknesses milder.
