Vernon Jones Says He Will Be ‘Looking Closely’ at GA Gov Race: ‘If It Weren’t For Brian Kemp, Donald Trump Would Still Be President of These United States’

Earlier today, we reported that former President Donald Trump released a big endorsement today of U.S. Rep Jody Hice (R-GA), who announced his run for Georgia Secretary of State to unseat “RINO” Brad Raffensperger in 2022.

In a tweet today, former state rep Vernon Jones said that his focus was on the governor’s race taking place next year as well.

Jones said in the tweet, “I’m looking closely at Georgia’s race for Governor. If it weren’t for Brian Kemp, Donald Trump would still be President of these United States.”

“We need courageous conservatives leading our state, not those afraid to stand up to the Radical Left,” Jones added.

Jason Miller, who has been acting as a spokesperson for Trump, quote tweeted Jones and applauded what Jones said, using three fire emojis.

One Democrat twitter account responded to Jones by accusing Republicans in the state of attempting to suppress the vote.

Jones responded that “Democrats have been suppressing Blacks their entire time in this country. Democrats were against freeing the slaves, starting the kkk, Original Jim Crows, passed Jim Crow voter suppression laws and now believe blacks can’t afford a damn ID card!”

Another left-wing Twitter account attempted to “educate” Jones and they asked, “You know most of the democrats who were against voting rights and desegregation switched to the Republican Party?”

Jones responded, “Most are current democrats!”
