Vernon Jones Wonders Where BLM and Antifa Are to ‘Say Her Name’ After Chicago Police Officer Ella French Murdered During Traffic Stop

As Chicago continues to mourn 29-year-old Officer Ella French who was murdered during a traffic stop in West Englewood Saturday night, Republican candidate for Governor in Georgia, Vernon Jones, wondered where Black Lives Matter and Antifa are to speak out against the atrocity.

ABC 7 reported that flags across the city are flying at half staff as the 29 year old is also being remembered with the raising of this purple and black mourning flag.

In a tweet, Jones asked, “To @Blklivesmatter & ANTIFA members who tried to make me say Breanna Taylor’s name, where in the hell are you now?”

Jones then demanded, “Say her name… ‘ELLA FRENCH’ you cowards. What about this woman, mother, daughter & police officer murdered? Say her name dammit! Say it!!!”

In the tweet, Jones also shared a picture of French.

Liberals descended on the Tweet to give their explanations for why there hasn’t been more outcry from the left.

“Lady Dragonfly” claimed, “Ella French was a paid professional & knew the risks of the job. Breonna was asleep in her home. IN HER OWN HOME. While both tragic & entirely preventable, they are not even close 2 the same. Weaponizing tragedy & faux outrage while chasing for clout isn’t a good look.”

Jones shot back at her, “Paid to be killed? Breanna with a (drug) dealer? Really? You must be a liberal on drugs! But you better say her name dammit!”

BLM supporter KaedenceJ told Jones, “I’m not saying everyone’s name who signed up for the line of duty they took on. If you wanna control gun violence, don’t have guns. Cause even in a situation where those who are able to help have guns, don’t always work.”

Jones responded, “Oh, so let only criminals like Breonna’s drug dealer boyfriend have to shoot at the police. I hope you never call 911 for police when your butt is in a democrack!”

“Resistance” member Steven Privett suggested, “I see the suspects are in custody and facing justice. Is that correct? So… what is there to protest?”

Jones, didn’t buy that suggestion however and pointed out, “You didn’t say that when others were arrested. You burned down (City) blocks. The problem is where the hell are they now? Cowards!”

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) has commented on the killing and also mentioned the other officer who was shot, stating, “A mother lost her daughter last night. A brother, his sister. A family, forever shattered. Another continues to keep vigil at a hospital bed, sending up powerful prayers but no doubt fearing the worst.”

Officer French’s brother told the Chicago Tribune, “She’s my sister, she’s my little sister. And as much as I was there for her when we were growing up, she was there for me. And I was proud of her, I’m still proud of her…God took the wrong kid.”
