Republican Virginia U.S. Senate Candidate Chuck Smith has been endorsed by Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase:
“I’ve known Chuck Smith for over a decade and have spent an incredible amount of time with him over the past 2 years as we both ran for statewide office. He has the character, integrity and experience we need in the US Senate. Margaret Thatcher once said, “First you win the argument. Then you win the election”. Impressive credentials, Chuck is the only Marine (0311), the only Navy JAG Commander retired after 26 years of combined military service, the most years as a lawyer (44) more than any candidate, Chuck was even born on the 4th of July. Chuck is a seasoned attorney who can and will win the argument against Tim Kaine. Have you ever heard Chuck speak? Kaine doesn’t stand a chance! Chuck is from Virginia and has deep roots in the conservative movement. Chuck will beat Tim Kaine and I endorse Chuck for US Senate.”
Smith is running with hopes to kick U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) out of his seat. Kaine has held his senate seat for two terms now.
Smith was born on the fourth of July and has served his country as a Marine as well as a Navy Jag Commander, now retired. In total, he served in the military for a total of 26 years.
He served as the chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach from 2006 to 2008.
His goals as a member of the U.S. Senate would be to ensure the U.S. Constitutions’ provisions are equally enforced at all levels of the government, this includes protecting the 2nd amendment.
He will fight to protect “life from conception until natural death”, and stand against governmental encroachment on our freedoms. He plans to work to enforce America’s laws against illegal immigration to protect Virginians and the rest of the United States.
Smith has defended his country for many years and plans to keep doing so but in the U.S. Senate.
