President Joe Biden met yesterday with CEOs of various major corporations to discuss holiday shopping supply chain issues in the library of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C.
Apparently, Biden was impressed with the setup, or perhaps the history, but whatever it was, out of the blue at the end of the live stream from the White House, he looked around and up at the ceiling, aloofly asking to no one in particular, “Isn’t this a pretty place?”
The CEOs in the room appeared to laugh awkwardly, which included Etsy CEO Josh Silverman and Samsung CEO KS Cho.

CNBC reported that the grocery sector was represented by Food Lion President Meg Ham, Todos Supermarket CEO Carlos Castro, and Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen.
Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz, Best Buy CEO Corrie Barry, and David Rawlinson, CEO of Qurate Retail Group, which owns brands like QVC, Ballard Designs and Zulily, were also a part of the roundtable discussion.
Attending the meeting virtually were CVS Health CEO and Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, who could be seen speaking just prior to the end of the live stream.
